The Winnetka Community House is easily accessible from
the Eden’s Expressway (94). Approximately a 40 minute drive from Chicago.
From Chicago
North on Edens Expressway (94).
Exit Willow Road East. Take Willow Road east to Green Bay Road – approximately
1 mile. Willow Road ends at Green Bay Road. Turn left on Green Bay Road
(north) to Oak Street – the first cross light. Turn right on Oak
and go over the bridge. Turn left on Lincoln, the first street immediately
after the bridge. Take Lincoln two blocks north to 620 Lincoln Avenue,
the corner of Lincoln and Pine.
From Western Suburbs
North on 294 Tollway. Exit Willow Road East.
Take Willow Road approximately 6 miles through Northbrook, and Northfield
into Winnetka to Green Bay Road. Turn left onto Green Bay (north). Take
Green Bay to Oak Street—the first cross light. Turn right on Oak
and go over the bridge to Lincoln Avenue. Turn left on Lincoln, the first
street immediately after the bridge. Drive two blocks north to 620 Lincoln
Avenue, the corner of Lincoln and Pine.
From Northwest Suburbs
South on 294 Tollway/Edens Expressway (94)
In Deerfield, stay to the left and take the spur to the east – Edens
Expressway/Chicago 94. Exit Tower Road. Follow the Tower Road sign at
the exit and stay on Tower Road until

you reach Green Bay Road (traffic light) – approximately
2 miles. At Green Bay Road, turn right (south). Drive south to Pine Street – the
second cross light. Turn left on Pine Street and go over the bridge. WCH
is on the right-hand side (south side) at the corner of Pine and Lincoln.
North on Sheridan Road
Drive north on Sheridan Road to Elm Street – approximately
one mile from the Plaza del’Lago shopping area. Turn left (west)
on Elm and continue to the 4-way stop of Elm and Lincoln Avenue. Turn
right on Lincoln (north) and go one block to the corner of Lincoln and
Pine.
South on Sheridan Road
Drive south on Sheridan Road to Maple. Turn right
onto Maple (cross light). At Pine, turn right and go one block west to
the corner of Lincoln and Pine.
Parking
Parking is available in the municipal lot behind
the WCH at the southwest corner. There are two entrances. The first is
from Lincoln Avenue, north of Elm Street and just south of Pine Street.
The other entrance is from the north side of the building on Pine Street.
Turn left on Killian Court. Please note the parking restrictions enforced
Monday through Friday. There is a second parking lot at the north side
of the building off of Pine Street. Residential parking is also available.
